SOURCES

Here are some artifacts produced at the time ocean pollution has been an issue, going all the way back to 1973, when news articles started to be written about the topic, until recently. These sources tell us about how the people who created them understood their world at the time and what life looked like. I have analyzed each source and tied it into the theme of the website. Each source exemplifies how plastic pollution in the oceans has an extensive history, and these sources (in their own way) seem to be calling out for attention and change regarding the issue.
